One of the many SoCal beatmakers affiliated with the Friends of Friends label, Groundislava, who was all overXLR8R last year when he dropped his Feel Me album, has announced that he’ll soon be hitting the road with fellow West Coast producer oOoOO, sharing a bit of new music in the process. The new Treasure Chest EP arrives 11 tracks strong, with one never-before-heard original track called “Time Alone” pairing with a batch of 10 remixes for the likes of Shlohmo, Kanye West, Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj, and Drake. Groundislava is offering the batch of tunes as a “name your price” download before his North American tour gets underway on May 16 in Austin, TX.
