With his third solo full-length dropping next week via his own Cómeme label, Matias Aguayo has shared a charecteristically quirky and rather ambiguous video for album cut “Levantate Diegors.” In the middle of sandy, coastal terrain, Aguayo and a mopey friend—we might possibly be working with a Weekend at Bernie’s-type scenario here—walk down a dusty path to the calm waters below as the camera takes brief moments to track things like a high-flying bird and an adventurous cat from time to time. What it all means is anyone’s guess, but it’s hard to argue with the jittery rhythms and post-punk vibes Aguayo is able to sneak into this hypnotic cut. And what’s more, the man’s The Visitor LP can now be streamed in full via Pitchfork Advance, here.
