Employing a plushy 303 and waves of warm pads, “Your Love” is a graceful slice of techno lifted from a just-released EP of the same name by LA DJ/producer and Body High co-owner Samo Sound Boy, and has just been treated to a surreal music video. Rooted in a series of images seemingly inspired by David Cronenberg, the piece plays with the ideas of fantasy and fulfillment. And once the Eyes Wide Shut-esque narrative draws to a close, the lead male character comes to an unexpected realization when his girlfriend whispers almost deviously, “Happy anniversary.”
