After detailing its initial lineup and a host of label-curated showcases, Asheville, North Carolina’s Moogfest has announced a new wave of additional artists for the 2014 art, music, and technology event. Entering its fourth year in Asheville, Moogfest “honors the creativity and inventiveness of Dr. Robert Moog and pays tribute to the legacy of the analog synthesizer.” Additional artists set to perform at the spring festival—which takes place from April 23 to 27—include the likes of Brooklyn experimental outfit Black Dice, LA beat wizard Flying Lotus (pictured above), electro-pop veterans Pet Shop Boys, Berlin-based producer Machinedrum’s Vapor City Live show, London trio Factory Floor, Matthew Dear’s techno alias Audion, agit-pop star M.I.A., Modeselektor’s and Apparat’s collaborative Moderat project, and more.
