Hate is back after a lengthy absence. For the unfamiliar, Hate was a late-’00s white label project that featured original and unreleased junglist hardcore pulled off a collection of dubplates and DAT tapes from the early ’90s. More recently, the project has been revealed as being helmed by Demdike Stare‘s Miles Whittaker, Andy Stott, and Modern Love affiliate G.H.

In the past several years, there has not been much word from the project, but now the trio has announced Bad History, a cassette tape which compiles the label’s entire discography and features a 40-minute recording of the trio playing live as a soundsystem in Sweden. The tape is available now on Boomkat, where a few tracks from the compilation are also available to preview. (via FACT)
