Following the release of Like Father Like Son, a collaborative LP with his father and Omar-S affiliate Big Strick, emerging DJ/producer Tre Strickland (a.k.a. Generation Next) is set to return to 7 Days Ent. this fall with a new solo EP. Slated for release on September 22, Nocturne finds Strickland showcasing “a subtle range of styles within the aesthetic of real Detroit deep house that 7 Days Ent. has long mastered,” with four slow-burning tracks built around classic drum-machine rhythms and vintage keys.
