The label arm of long-running NYC party The Bunker will release a two-track EP from prolific electronic producer Uwe Schmidt (a.k.a. Atom TM) late next month. Titled the Ground Loop EP, the effort will host a pair of “dancefloor acid explosions,” which will add to Schmidt’s abundant discography that currently includes over 200 releases under a variety of aliases, most notably Atom TM and SeƱor Coconut. The record is also said to have stemmed from Schmidt’s performance of “Ground Loop material” for at a Bunker party last year, which piqued the label heads’ interests and eventually led to the veteran artist turning in the simply titled “Ground Loop 1” and “Ground Loop 2.”

To coincide with the record’s release on September 29, Atom TM will be making his way around the US for a number of performances, including another stop at The Bunker in October. Atom TM’s full Stateside tour schedule can be found below, where the upcoming Ground Loop EP can also be previewed. (via Resident Advisor)
