At the time of their release in the mid- to late 2000s, Burial‘s Burial and Untrue LPs were met with both critical and commercial success and spawned innumerable clones. Now, the Hyperdub label has revealed that both albums will be re-released on vinyl in the near future.

“The two classic Burial albums are being repressed on 180g double vinyl and, for the first time, updated to include the beatless atmospheric tracks that—up until now—have only been available on the CD versions,” the label posted on its blog. “These new pressings also come with unique codes for free download. Please note, these are not reissues, there’s no new music, nothing remastered—just revised, improved, and back in print. Sorry it took so long.” No official release date has been shared as of yet.
