Ballantine’s and Boiler Room‘s “Stay True Journeys” series seeks to uncover authentic underground music scenes around the globe, showcasing emerging artists and pioneers of relatively untapped movements and the stories behind them. Having already stopped off in cities across the world, from Mexico City and Santiago to Warsaw and Hamburg, the latest stop on the tour touched down in Recife, Brazil to explore the global influence of the nation’s music.

The set is an exclusive of Gilles Petersons’ new project: reimagining Jose Prate’s legendary Tam Tam Tam which premiered in Recife with a variety of close friends and local musicians, including Brazilian rapper Karol Conka.
