The next release of No. 19 Music will arrive from label head Nitin, with a cast of fellow-Canadian artists on remix duties, including fellow No. 19 owner Jonny White and Modern Deep Left Quartet member Colin de la Plante (a.k.a. The Mole).

Focusing back on its roots, No.19 Music has been dropping a steady flow of standout underground music from Toronto’s artists. The label closed out 2016 with Art Department and AD/D’s single “Full Circle,” and now drops its first release of 2017 with Nitin’s Sunday Grey EP.

On Sunday Grey, which is arguably Nitin’s finest work to date, the Toronto producer presents two beautifully deep and atmospheric club tracks, with swinging drums and floating, melancholic synths—two slices of house music perfect for the dreamy hours of the party. On the remixes, Art Department kicks things into overdrive and refits “Sunday Grey” to a more direct and energetic framework; whilst de la Planta layers delicate synths and erratic, infectious drums in his typically idiosyncratic style.

Sunday Grey is out now on 12″ and will drop May 8 digitally. Ahead of the digital release, you can stream The Mole’s remix in full via the player below.
