Len Faki is set to a sub-label of his Figure imprint and a new label, namely Figure Jams and LF RMX.

Figure Jams, a sub-label, is “all about bringing together artists whose work the label has already been following closely and feels to have a joint artistic vision with.” The aim to bring together “artists from a wider network whose music engages in a special kind of dialogue and has a joint artistic vision.” Each record on will be shared by two producers whose music engage in this “special kind of dialogue.” The first release, scheduled for June 12, will be a split EP from Fabrizio Lapiana and Amotik. Then, on July 24, Abstract Division and Patrik Skoog will pair up for Figure Jams 002.

The second label, LF RMX, will focus on remixes. Faki, a Berghain resident, has developed quite a reputation for his edits and LF RMX will be an outlet for this material. “LF RMX is a non-profit platform, through which I want to share some of the edited tracks I made originally for playing in my DJ sets,” Faki says. It’ll launch on July 3 with two takes on DJ Bone’s “Black Patterns,” followed by remixes of Stephen Brown’s “Deep In” later in the summer. All such label earnings will be donated fully to Straßenkinder e.V., a Berlin organization that contributes to the care of homeless children and child poverty.
