Bristol-based producer Craig Stennett (a.k.a. Asusu) serves as one-third of the Livity Sound crew, and since 2011 has racked up seven releases on the celebrated label (which he runs alongside Peverelist and the most recent XLR8R podcast contributor Kowton). Not content with that, Stennett has just announced the creation of his own new label, Impasse, which he has established to “offer a platform for experimentation, both within the framework of techno and house as well as music that falls outside these constraints.”

The label’s first effort will come in the form of the Serra EP from Asusu himself, and will land on February 16. Ahead of its release, the record’s four tracks can be previewed via the player below.
