Berlin resident and Berghain mainstay Ben Klock has just announced that he is next in line to contribute to Fabric‘s ongoing series of mix albums. Fabric 66, which was recorded in Klock’s home studio and can be previewed and pre-ordered here, is a 24-track presentation of both old and new sounds created by like-minded house and techno maestros from around the world. The sizeable offering also features some unreleased material from the likes of Staffan Linzatt, DVS1, and Marcel Dettman, alongside gems by Burial, Luke Slater (as Planetary Assault Systems), Octave One, Trevino, Mathew Johnson, Technasia, and more. Speaking to Fabric about his selections, Klock says, “I didn’t want to include any of my ‘hits’ from my sets this time. The idea is more that you have something to discover when you listen.” There will be two release parties for Fabric 66 around its actual October 15 release date: one at Berghain on October 13 and one at Fabric on October 27.
