Ben Lukas Boysen is set to release a new LP on Erased Tapes.

Boysen is the son of opera singers Deirdre and Claus Boysen, and was brought up classically trained on piano and guitar from the age of just seven. His upbringing involved the works of Wagner, Bruckner and Bach, alongside contemporary artists and groups like Autechre, Godspeed!, Pink Floyd and the like.

Spells is his second album, a follow-up to his debut Gravity. An alternate version of song “Sleepers Beat Theme” from Spells was actually featured on Jon Hopkins’ Late Night Tales from 2015.

Spells LP is scheduled for June 10 release via Erased Tapes.
