London mainstay Brackles has revealed that he will drop a new EP for Rinse next week, serving as the producer’s first official effort since his debut album, Rinse Presents: Brackles. Entitled Go, the forthcoming EP is said to find the DJ/producer born Rob Kemp making “a subtle shift… away from the polyphonic fireworks of his album tracks towards slinkier, sleeker arrangements.” Kemp’s next record drops on August 5, but before then, its title track and EP cut “Overtime” have both been made available to stream. The latter production offers video game-like melodies and the sultry vocals of Cherri V, while the former boasts intriguing layers of sturdy percussion and a hefty helping of slippery bass. Both tunes can be heard in full via the players below.
