Through its regular events, exceptional annual festival, and continued label efforts, Amsterdam’s Dekmantel crew has become one of the most dependable forces in electronic music in recent years. Today, a new mix from Dekmantel co-founder Thomas Martojo has surfaced, giving us all a new bit of insight into one of the musical minds that has helped shape the Dutch outfit’s ascendant course. Spanning nearly five hours, Martojo’s Winter Mix is an extremely diverse affair, one which pieces together tracks from Floating Points, Theo Parrish, Beautiful Swimmers, DJ Koze, Barnt, Matrixxman (whose new EP for Dekmantel is currently streaming in full on XLR8R), and others with cuts from Can, The Cure, Portishead, and more unexpected selections. For his part, Martojo sums the session up simply as a “five-hour mix in which I managed to tie together most of all my interests.”

The Dekmantel co-founder’s new set can be streamed and download below where its 73-song tracklist has also been included. Furthermore, our own in-depth look into the roots of the Dekmantel crew (published in the summer of 2014) can be read here.
