Both known for producing their own brands of moving electronic sounds, Berlin’s Efdemin (pictured above) and Brighton tunesmith Ital Tek dropped a mix apiece today, with both artists taking their time to craft a dense, heady offering of tunes. On Efdemin’s mix for FACT, the producer shows he’s not afraid to let his selections breathe, kicking off with a Raymond Scott cut and eventually bringing in some cavernous and sensual tracks from the likes of Black Jazz Consortium, Echoplex, DJ Qu, Anthony “Shake” Shakir, and others. Ital Tek’s mix for Resident Advisor keeps things more or less in the family, as the majority of his selections are either his own material and that of cronies Om Unit and Dawn Day Night.
