Following the release of his recent XLR8R Pick’d self-titled LP on Warp, Clark has shared a new animated video for LP cut “Beacon.” Created by visual artist and recent Monkeytown signee Matti Gajek, the video pairs the track’s blistering, arpeggiated synthline and glacial reverb with images of semi-real creatures and topographies. “Clark’s music to me is sublime and rough at the same time, so I was searching for images that mirror this quality: seemingly cold landscapes, otherworldly places, and a sense of timelessness,” Gajek says. “‘Beacon’ has this beautiful emotional intensity which for me comes to the foreground more in the second part of the video with the portraits. There for the first time in the video something looks back at you.”

Clark—who we recently featured as part of our In the Studio series—has also announced a series of live appearances in 2015, many of which are set to be co-headlined with Nosaj Thing. Full details of the tour can be found below, where the video for “Beacon” can also be watched in full.
