Dean Grenier, Hej Fund, and Eprom—who together form the West Coast production unit Sister City—have announced the launch of a new label, Sister City Limited, and shared details of its inaugural release. The imprint will reportedly serve as a platform for the trio’s own productions (described as “electronic environments inspired by brutalist urban architecture, improvised, hardware-session fever dreams, and new frontiers in an immersive venue experience”) and material from like-minded artists. The outpost’s inaugural single finds Grenier partnering with Max Ulis on a-side cut “The Face You Wear is Not Your Own” and with Sergio Levels for “Hard Water” on the flip; both tracks can be heard in full below.

A digital version of “The Face You Wear is Not Your Own” b/w “Hard Water” can already be grabbed here via Sister City’s Bandcamp, and will become more widely available beginning in January. A solo EP from Hej Fund is also scheduled to drop in February 2015, followed by the first official release from the Sister City trio in March.
