DJ Deep‘s Paris-based imprint Deeply Rooted has announced its first new material of the year—one solo EP by the label head, as well as one from Adventice (Deep’s collaboration with Roman Poncet).

Cyril Etienne des Rosaies (a.k.a. DJ Deep) launched Deeply Rooted back in 2004, putting out music by the likes of Kerri Chandler, Franck Roger and Jovonn. The imprint underwent a reshaping in 2013 via a more techno-oriented vision, expanding output to include the likes of Terence Fixmer and Dax J.

First up for 2016 is DJ Deep’s Cuts Vol. 2, an EP made up of four straight techno tracks (the second in a series which began via the label back in 2014). Further down the line is the next Adventice record, which will drop in June. The duo have so far only released three records together as Adventice, all via Tresor, though they are also known to collaborate under the aliases of Fang and Sergie Rezza.

Adventice’s Weeding EP is due out June 6. Prior to that, DJ Deep’s Cuts Vol. 2 will hit stores on May 9, and can be pre-ordered at Clone.nl. Check out snippets from it below.
