It seems that LA-based producer and former XLR8R podcast contributor Delroy Edwards is a fan of surprise releases. A few weeks ago, he suddenly issued an eight-track 12″ of “no wave” productions, and today, he’s followed it up with a new record—and a new alias—for his own L.A. Club Resource label. Apparently, the DJ Punisher project is meant to focus on the noisier side of the noise-techno spectrum, and its debut offering is a vinyl-only, four-track 12″ where all the songs are untitled. The artwork is above, and some of the record’s sounds can be heard in the promo video we’ve posted below. Additional song clips can be found at Rush Hour and Genes Liquor, both of which have the 12″ for sale.
