Chicago juke/footwork mainstays DJ Rashad and DJ Spinn have put together a new mixtape titled We Trippy Mane Part 1. The lengthy DJ set serves as a celebration of Rashad’s Lit City imprint, which Brenmar is also affiliated with, and the forthcoming release of Rashad’s next album. That upcoming LP is called TEKLIFE Vol.1: Welcome to the Chi, and is heavily featured on the Trippy mixtape, along with a handful of other works by both Spinn and Rashad (who, you may remember, also mixed an exclusive XLR8R podcast two years ago). We Trippy Mane Part 1 is available to stream and download below, where you can also check out its tracklist and the pair’s upcoming European/UK tour dates.
