Brainfeeder affiliate Ras G (a.k.a. Gregory Shorter, Jr.) has announced an eight-track EP via his SoundCloud account, which you can also download for free now. Called AinaT, the EP leaves drops and airhorns behind because, as Ras G puts it on SoundCloud, “this project was not about _G,” but about his—at the time—recent breakup with someone by the name of AinaT. In September, the longstanding LA beatsmith released his El-Aylien Pt.II: C.razy A.lien EP, and this offering continues in a similar fashion with hip-hop beats, oddball samples, and the cosmic sounds of the Afrikan Space Program.
