In the 25 days leading up to Christmas—and in keeping with annual tradition—Glasgow’s LuckyMe label and collective has been giving away one free download a day, and today’s track on offer is a remix of Four Tet‘s “Parallel Jalebi” by Warp affiliate Hudson Mohawke. The track originally appeared on Four Tet’s most recent album, Beautiful Rewind (for the record, it was also one of our favorite tracks of 2013), and while Mohawke leaves the song’s vocal intact, he does considerably amp up the track’s half-time rhythm, adding extra doses of crushing drums and trancey, gated synths to the effort as well.

Other downloads shared through LuckyMe’s audio advent calendar so far this year have included productions from Dubbel Dutch, Claude Speeed, and Jacques Greene, among others, all of which can be grabbed for free here, while Hudson Mohawke’s new remix can be streamed and downloaded below. Furthermore, Mohawke was also on BBC Radio One last night to talk about his upcoming LP, even previewing a few tracks from the effort in the process; the full interview can be heard here.
