Following the recent release of its debut LP, former Bubblin’ Up duo Downliners Sekt has delivered a new mix which covers a diverse range of electronic sounds alongside a healthy amount of unreleased material. Appearing as the latest contribution to Resident Advisor‘s ongoing podcast series, the Barcelona pair’s new mix is said to have been recorded at a friend’s house in the south of France after drinking some “biodynamique wines” and using an “analog mixing desk that sounds great” to piece the set together. Spanning just under an hour, Downliers Sekt covers an eclectic range of styles across its mix, touching on distorted breaks, textural house and techno, and a number of esoteric electronics corners during its run.
