Barcelona-based producer Sinjin Hawke has been keeping his name in XLR8R‘s headlines quite a bit lately, appearing in our recent profile of his current Spanish residence, sharing his collaboration with L-Vis 1990 for Sound Pellegrino, and dropping the latest installment of his Fractal Fantasy series, the MikeQ-featuring “Thunderscan.” And he keeps the streak going today with the appearance of a brand-new mix, the artist’s first in two years. Premiered with an extensive Q&A on i-D, Sinjin Hawke in the mix. is an hour-long, 31-track excursion into heavy dancefloor beats, funky synth work, sneering hip-hop, and smooth R&B, all pre-approved and/or edited by the producer himself.
