Powell has embedded a track giveaway in the video for “Insomniac,” his recent single for XL. As Resident Advisor reports, “Kickin'” (which features Diagonal affiliate Russell Haswell) can be claimed by clicking on the overlay link that pops up 46 seconds into the video. Users are then redirected to a WeTransfer link with the mastered WAV file.

“Insomniac” generated a fair amount of attention earlier this month when, in response to Powell’s request to sample one of Steve Albini’s vocals, Albini sent back an excoriating email stating that he detests “club culture as deeply as I detest anything on earth” and is “against what you’re into, and an enemy of where you come from.” The email was used to promote the track on a billboard in East London, and also features in the video for “Insomniac.” Watch it in full below.
