One year after the release of his fifth solo album, Fernweh, Kanzleramt label head Heiko Laux has announced the release of a two part remix series for his previous LP.

His Kanzleramt imprint, which was established in Berlin back in 1994, has gained a widespread and suitable reputation over the years; releasing music from the likes of Robert Hood, Truncate, Samuel L. Session, and many more. In part one of the remix series, the EP will feature treatments from Luis Flores and Ray Kajioka along with a collaboration mix between Flores and Heiko himself. Part two will feature appearances from Marcel Dettmann, Steve Rachmad, and Yan Cook.

Ahead of the release of this two-part package of remixes, you can download a collaborative rework of the track “Decapitated” from Luis Flores and Heiko Laux. Fernweh Remixes One is set for digital release on November 13 and Fernweh Remixes Two will drop digitally on November 27. The download for “Decapitated” will be available for the next 48 hours.
