Shobaleader One have shared an exclusive video of a live performance of the track “Cooper’s World,” ahead of their upcoming gigs across the UK and Berlin next month.

Tom Jenkinson (a.k.a. Squarepusher) formed Shobaleader One initially as a vehicle for the performance of his group compositions, which resulted in 2010’s dDemonstrator album. The group debuted their live performance only last October, and are now preparing to get back on the road. Their first stop is in Manchester on May 6, before heading to Berlin’s XJAZZ Festival a day later. On Sunday May 8, they will perform at London’s Islington Assembly Hall, alongside a live performance by Warp RecordsLafawndah, as well as a DJ set by snooker legend Steve Davis.

Davis recently made waves after he moved from the snooker tables, to a performance at this year’s Bloc Festival. His musical side is no new phenomenon though—he has been hosting Phoenix FM’s weekly ‘The Interesting Alternative Show’ alongside Kavus Torabi for years.
