Klockworks kicks off the new year with a new addition to its roster, Kanzleramt label head Heiko Laux. The German techno stalwart is set to release the three-track EP Klockworks 17 on January 27.

His Kanzleramt imprint, which was established in Berlin back in 1994, has gained a widespread and suitable reputation over the years; releasing music from the likes of Robert Hood, Truncate, Samuel L. Session, and many more. Coincidentally finding himself sitting near Klockworks label head, Ben Klock, on a random flight after a successful run in the studio, the two began to exchange stories and by the time the plane landed, Klockworks 17 was born.

Kicking the EP off with the wet and atmospheric track “Savannah,” the following productions “Dry Me” and “Dry Me (Acid Mix)” are deep, rolling compositions with their hearts set on repetitive dancefloor fruition.
