London-based singer/producer Inga Copeland, formerly half of oddball duo Hype Williams with Dean Blunt, will soon self-release her debut LP as copeland, an eight-song record called Because I’m Worth It. copeland first struck out on her own with her self-titled EP in 2011, and has since released two additional solo EP’s in 2013 that further explored her brand of lo-fi production work and ghostly vocal melodies. Said to have been written, produced, and recorded largely by copeland in Stroomi Rand, as well as in partial collaboration with Werkdiscs boss Actress, Because I’m Worth It is set for a release sometime in May, but while we wait for its arrival, the album’s artwork and tracklist can be found below.
