The second edition of Intonal Festival is scheduled to take place April 21-24, in Malmö, Sweden.

Intonal is organised in collaboration with Inkonst, EMS, IAC, Berlin's CTM, and Poland's Unsound, and aims to showcase genre-bending and innovative music, with the aim of creating “ a place where seemingly difficult and inaccessible musical expressions are transformed into open and joyous experiences.”

The event will launch on Thursday April 21 with a free concert at the local Johanneskyrkan Church, featuring a gong-based performance by Rrose. From there, the line up consists of the likes of James Holden & Camilo Tirado, Kassem Mosse, Morton Subotnick & Lillevan, and Detlef Weinrich as Toulouse Low Trax. The event will finally be shut down with a mysterious closing ritual performed by Stephen O’Malley of Sunn O))).
