It’s been 20 years since Jeff Mills debuted his first work on Axis Records, the Tranquilizer EP, which he co-produced with Robert Hood under the moniker H&M. Since then, Mills has continued to produce under the Axis stamp, most recently dropping a full-length called The Messenger on the label earlier this year. Now, to celebrate the last 20 years he spent pioneering techno, Mills will soon release a two-disc retrospective of hand-picked tunes culled from his storied career on Axis. The 26-song compilation, aptly titled Sequence: A Retrospective of Axis Records, also comes with a booklet containing extensive liner notes from Mills himself. There is no official release date for the collection as yet, but for now, the artwork can be found above and the full tracklist—complete with each song’s original release date—below. (via Juno Plus)
