Danish DJ-producer Kasper Bjørke has announced details surrounding his new album Fountain of Youth, which will be released on June 10 via the Hamburg-based label hfn music. The past decade has seen Bjørke steadily rising amongst the ranks of artful, eclectic electronic producers, with a slew of original releases on hfn music and Eskimo Recordings, as well as a plethora of successful remixes for Pillowtalk, SONNS, Trentemøller, and more.

Despite making a name for himself as a club-friendly DJ with gigs at top venues like Panorama Bar, Watergate, and Output, ‘Fountain of Youth’ reflects Bjørke’s recent focus on song-oriented compositions. The 8-track LP draws on Kasper’s years of involvement in club culture, fusing house, electro, disco, and techno into ethereal soundscapes that are as poignant on the dancefloor as they are when heard through headphones. Included in the LP is the dramatic and moody title track “Cloud 9,” which has already been reworked by luminaries like Gerd Janson, Hivern Disc’s Marvin & Guy, and Kompakt favorite Weval.
