London-based producer Leon Vynehall has shared clips for a surprise single on Clone's Royal Oak series. Since starting out on labels such as Brighton's Well Rounded, the XLR8Rpodcast alum (who we also profiled as part of our Bubblin' Up series in 2012), has made a real name for himself with subsequent singles on Will Saul's Aus outfit and a recent full-length for Martyn's 3024 label. In typical style, this new record is heavy on groove, constructed as a collage of organic timbres that are no doubt influenced by his often-voiced love of hip-hop, jazz, and more.
Both the piano-led a-side cut "Butterflies" and "This Is The Place," on the flip, can be previewed below. The 12" is out today, and a digital version will be made available next week.
