The Night Slugs camp has come out with its second collection of DJ-primed tracks, this time featuring the handiwork of funky maestro Lil Silva. Following L-Vis 1990‘s initial batch of dancefloor-aiming tunes, Club Constructions Vol. 2 (available digitally today with a 12″ to follow next week) features three new, hard-edged productions by Lil Silva, who—aside from dropping the odd white label—has been oddly quiet over the past year. Also arriving soon from Night Slugs is a remix package for label co-owner Bok Bok‘s Southside EP, featuring fresh versions of those massive cuts from the likes of ballroom star Vjuan Allure and Bubblin’ Up producer Helix.
