Announced early last month, Cosmic Machine: A Voyage Across French Cosmic & Electronic Avantgarde (1970-1980) is a 20-track compilation curated by Olivier Carrié for French-born label Because Music, featuring classic music from the likes of Jean Michel Jarre, Serge Gainsbourg, Marc Cerrone, and Thomas Bangalter's father Daniel Vangarde, among many others. The gorgeously packaged release is set to drop on October 14, but before then, it can be heard in its entirety. Over on Resident Advisor, the wide-reaching collection of forward-thinking disco and experimental electronic compositions is available to stream in full.
