Maayan Nidam has shared a video for “Dust and Dirt,” taken from her upcoming Sea Of Thee album, scheduled for November 23 release via Perlon.

The video sees Nidam in Berlin, her adopted home for nearly two decades. We’re told that locations include those most familiar to her, including her Kreuzberg apartment, her studio, a nearby forest, the banks of the Spree, and the industrial space she passes through each day. “I usually walk for about an hour in the morning from my apartment to the studio, crossing the park and over the water, trying to stay present until I get to the broken stairs that lead up to the wooden box I like to call ‘The Studchen,’” she says. “Saturated with loneliness and optimism, these walks inspire me as I create the soundtrack for my life here.”

The video also includes footage from Paris’ Concrete club, where Nidam was performing her new live set showcasing the album, completing and complementing a rare and intimate insight into one of electronic music’s most private artists.

Sea Of Thee is Nidam’s first album in six years and her first on Perlon, where she last appeared in 2016 with her Deep Under Sobriety Regime 10″.
