After last year’s Calcata, Neel will soon return to Token with Transition. 

Neel is an artist who pays close attention to the technical aspect of sound whether producing in the studio, DJing or playing live. His output fuses rhythm and texture with techno and ambience, shown on his releases and his immersive ambient AV shows, his solo live techno shows, and Voices From the Lake, his live and studio collaboration with Donato Dozzy. 

We’re told that Transition continues in this vein. Conceptually based around four elements in the group known as the transition metals and recorded live in one take, each track is a “mind-bending trip through the periodic table that retains the human touch of a live performance,” the label explains. 

The four-track EP will be the Belgian label’s 86th release
