Last week, on November 21, Aimed Records released its second VA compilation, titled Part One.

Originally a trio made up of Orbit, Belogurov, and Cheise, Aimed launched its label arm, Aimed Records, earlier this year with an eight-track VA, featuring cuts from Stephan Bazbaz, Chris Carrier, Basic7, and, of course, Aimed, among others. Now, the label returns with its follow up, featuring four cuts from Aimed, Andrade, Dixia Sirong, and Jacob Seidensticker, Snad, and Boronas. Keeping in tune with the label’s ethos, the new VA focuses on various flavors of dancefloor grooves, from Aimed’s funk-filled “Circle” to Andrade’s warped “Map Reduce” and the euphoric “Marilyn” from Dixia Sirong. Part Two will follow in early January with tracks from Consep, Cesare VS Disorder, Orbit & Belogurov, and Anton Kubikov.
