UK house legend and long-serving Fabric resident Terry Francis will drop his first vinyl release in almost a decade via Default Position on November 23. The Gasworks EP features two originals from Francis, alongside remixes from London veteran Darren Roach and Default Position label head, Joseph S Joyce. Two of the tracks off the Gasworks EP will also be featured on the new STEMS format which has recently been developed by Native Instruments.

Francis has been working the underground scene for upwards of twenty years, having taken up a residency slot at the legendary Stems Club and also being an integral component of London’s Wiggle parties back in 1994. His monumental mix albums Architecture and Architecture 2, received widespread praise before the turn of the century and, since then, Francis has continued his work touring around the world and releasing new, exciting music for the masses.

Ahead of the release of Francis’ Gasworks EP on November 23, you can stream EP cut “Intistars” exclusively below. The track throws out an multitude of colorful samples that emerge and bounce across a coercive rhythm with a considerable amount of attitude, emitting an inflection of funk that is seldom found in such deep electronic music.
