When it comes to house and techno, Belgian producer Tim Van de Meutter (aka Locked Groove) has an intrinsic knack for wistful grooves and convoluted rhythms. Teaming up with the Something Happening Somewhere (SoHaSo) imprint, Meutter has crafted “Namibia,” a cut that will land on the label’s dual compilation release Somewhere Compilations I & II. The track is stormy, confident, hasty, and minimal; a perfect industrial club aide that is an embodiment of Locked Groove’s individual style of production.

Somewhere Compilations I & II features fifteen dedicated artists, including Kid Culture, Malbetrieb, Polynation, Sigward, and label head, Nuno Dos Santos. The profusion of singles that are included on both compilations are strung together splendidly and create an angelic electronic journey that is bound to end up in clubs everywhere.
