Featuring four highly textural, dense cuts, Beneath breaks almost a year of silence from the UK-based producer. With obvious nods to UK producers such as Burial, the EP is also inspired by Prayer's classical music background and the work of Max Richter and Philip Glass. Fusing haunting layers of ambience, beautifully twisted vocals, and hard-edged beats, Prayer has crafted a sonic world that has a nostalgic undertone whilst simultaneously pushing things forward. Post-dubstep sits inside classical frameworks, with sprinklings of jungle and grime, for a sprawling amalgamation of electronics.
Ahead of its release on November 2, you can stream all four cuts in full below.
