Seven Davis Jr. is set to release his fourth record, debuting on Luke Solomon and Derrick Carter’s Classic label. The LA-based vocalist and producer began turning heads only a few years ago, despite spending 15 years ghostwriting and producing for others. Slated for release early next month, Friends follows a retrospective collection of tracks on Kutmah’s IZWID, as well as recent issues for Must Have and FunkinEven’s Apron imprint.

This July will also see the artist bringing his blend of R&B, funk, and dance music to five festival stages in support of the record–he’s set to appear at Pitch Festival in Amsterdam, Garden in Croatia, and London’s Lovebox, plus two additional performances in Japan–but until then, clips from both cuts on Friends are available to stream via Juno.
