Newcomer Round will supply the next release on John Talabot’s Hivern Discs label (which we recently profiled as part of our Labels We Love series). Set to arrive on December 8, “Glass” b/w “Float” is the young Copenhagen producer’s first solo outing, although he was one of four artists on the Barcelona imprint selected to remix The xx for an EP out this month. First appearing on Talabot’s DJ Kicks mix last year, the forthcoming record’s a-side cut features a garage-indebted beat and melancholic, bubbling melody and can be streamed in full below, where the complete tracklist for “Glass” b/w “Float” is also on view.
