After releasing new records from Napolian, Sculpture, and Slava already this year—and with another one on the way from Suicideyear—Oneohtrix Point Never’s Software label appears ready to keep its active release schedule moving at full-speed with the announcement that the Brooklyn-based outpost will issue the debut long-player from East Coast artist Cayman Johnson (a.k.a. Tallesen) later this year. The 12-track effort (16, if one counts the bonus tracks) is said to serve as “a comprehensive portrait of young Cayman Johnson’s enigmatic, sensual world-building music,” with the artist himself describing the record as a response to the “continuous flexibility of the physical setting by the additive of sound.”

Album cut “Strike Silver, Love Green” serves as our first taste of the type of murky, abstract productions Johnson (who resides in New York’s Hudson Valley region) plans to deliver on his debut LP, Stills Lit Through. A video for the track can be watched below, where the full tracklist and artwork for Tallesen’s forthcoming debut full-length can also be found before the record sees an official release on October 6.
