Following releases for his own Magazine imprint (which he co-runs alongside Crato and Jens-Uwe Beyer) as well as Mule Musiq, Cómeme, and—most recently—Joy Orbison’s and Will Bankhead’s Hinge Finger label, Cologne-based producer Daniel Ansorge (a.k.a. Barnt) will return to Magazine next week to issue his debut full-length. Ahead of its release, Barnt’s anticipated Magazine 13 LP is streaming in full exclusively on XLR8R.

Offering eight new productions, the LP finds Barnt delivering more of the hypnotic, Kosmische-esque excursions his past releases and string of well-regarded remixes have pointed towards. Aside from its three beatless interludes, Barnt’s debut keeps its aims set on the dancefloor, with “22:25” and “Cherry Red” charting more ominous courses while other efforts take shape as spiraling dancefloor explorations, ones in which cascading synth melodies are piled over precise layers of efficient drum machine percussion.

Officially out on November 24, Barnt’s debut full-length can be streamed in its entirety below.
