Complete with a remix from Ghostly mainstay Tadd Mullinix (under his JTC moniker), Brooklyn producer Patricia‘s Spectral Sound debut is now streaming in full ahead of its release next week.

Described by the label as a record “built from cinderblock kick drums, soot-covered modular synths, [and] hissy tape recordings,” Patricia’s Side Piece EP finds the artist crafting three cavernous techno excursions. Appearing not too far off from the opaque productions housed on Patricia’s Body Issue outing for Opal Tapes last year, EP cuts “Drip Dawn” and “Hulderhusan” take shape as muffled hardware workouts, while “Foie Gras” adds a touch of swing and hints of acid to the proceedings. For his part, Mullinix brightens up the record’s lead track, adding a few choice melodic layers to “Drip Dawn” on his so-called “I-94 lick” remix.

Officially out via Spectral Sound on August 25, Patricia’s Side Piece EP is streaming in full below.
