Eurorack and modular synths have grown in popularity hugely over the past few years. However, the complexity of modular synthesis and the cost of building a rack has put it out of reach for many aspiring producers. While some software manufacturers have emulated modular synths, it's rare to find an accurate recreation of the interface in the box.
Softube’s Modular platform—which Scott Monteith recently reviewed here—is created in conjunction with Doepfer and Intelijel and is a startlingly accurate emulation of the racks its modeled off.
In a recent video, available to watch below, Point Blank takes Softube's Modular for a test drive.
