Today, we’re premiering the visual piece for “Apart” by Bering Strait, a video which, through a yellowed lens, follows a woman on an afternoon stroll around grassy meadows and peaceful lakes until the sun sets. The 21-year-old producer born Jack Lever opens his track with a beatless soundscape marked by reverb-addled guitar and faint feedback before he fills the space with drums and an ocean of requisite bass tones. The addition of birds chirping—which could very well be Lever’s own field recordings—adds to the earthiness of “Apart.” R&S sublabel Apollo will release the rest of Bering Strait’s Apart EP on February 18.
